Summary:
Last Monday, I went to Sticky Rice with friends. I hopped into a friend's car and oh my god- the car was so FULL. The car was very old and small so when the eight of us got in, I swear it felt like it would not move. But, it moved. Thank god. Sticky Rice is on H Street so it was really a short ride. I literally ran to the restaurant because I have heard great things about the restaurant. We got in and it was packed, we had to wait for forty-five minutes. When we were finally seated, I ordered the most delicious food ever. We chatted our dinner away, and when the bill came- that’s when the disaster strikes. Our waiter gave us one bill that consisted all of our orders, and we spent like thirty minutes discussing how to divide the bill. Some of us didn’t cooperate with the waiter so he wrote to other group of deaf people saying, “Sorry, freshmen’s the worst.”
Response:
I felt sooooooo bad for the guy! I knew I did not do anything wrong to the waiter but that’s the impression he got us. He wasn’t the greatest waiter but we should not treat him that way. Ah, at least we learned from that experience. But, on the bright side- the food there is officially one of the best foods I have ever gotten in a restaurant. Their sushi is like made to perfection, like it was sent from heaven. Too gooooood to be true. It is hands down one of my favorite restaurant I have ever been to.
Here's a picture of what he wrote. haha.
